Great remedy for that sagging headliner. 4 stars for broken lid upon arrival!
Review of 3M Headliner & Fabric Adhesive, 18.1 oz. Aerosol Can @ $15.80 at time of orderI have a 22-year-old car in which a small section of the headliner is starting to come loose near the rear windshield. I did some research and looked at reviews before ordering this product. I wanted to get on top of it before the small section became a large one. It should be noted that I am NOT mechanically inclined or a handyman. The product was pretty easy to apply. Part of that could be because I had such a small section of headliner to repair. I tried to use as little as possible in order to avoid anything soaking through the headliner as some reported. I opted to try what one person suggested and let it set for a few moments to get tacky first before pressing the headliner back down. I liked that the nozzle is adjustable to variations of spray. This is indicated by the black marks on the can, and you just turn the spray nozzle to the black mark you want. This adjusts the spray to small, medium and wide, so to speak. Pricewise, this was slightly more expensive than the other brand I considered, much less than another I looked at, but worth the money for the job it performed. Plus, I trust the brand for the most part.I am not happy that the can arrived with the lid broken! I also noticed that some complained about the staining or soaking through. Right on the can it says this product is for new or almost new headliners. Expecting this to not leave residual marks on old headliners is an unreal expectation. Fortunately, in my case, the section was where it met at the back windshield, and almost the width of the windshield, and I barely had any residual marks. Part of this was my fault for accidental overspray.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome sticky stuff!
Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2023
When I purchased this item, I looked at price point and I looked at product reputation. 3M Products seem to always do a good job and this one did not disappoint. I used it for the headliner in my 1996 Ford F250 super cab. If you read the directions you should do just fine. When you pull the cap off the can, make sure you pull straight up so that you don’t accidentally hit the trigger and break it off the can. When you spray it, use a steady motion going from one side to the other with about a 50% overlap going back to the opposite direction. Don’t go too fast. Make sure you’re in a ventilated area so that you can breathe. And just remember, this is very sticky stuff so If you accidentally Touch something unintentionally, you will have a hard time pulling it apart without creating a crease in your fabric. I’m very happy with the outcome after using this adhesive.

Perfect bond for rear view mirror mount for all type of cars.

I purchased this product to fix the rear view mirror bracket of my Skoda Superb car. It bonds quickly and makes very strong bond in 1minute. All you need is, you should follow instructions clearly to get perfect results. It fails only if you didn't follow the instructions.. For me it works on the first attempt itself. Very good product from the manufacturer.. Thanks a lot.
