Good But Would Prefer A Right Angle Nozzle
I bought this primarily to check tire pressure in my motorcycle tires. The large front brake disc's make it difficult to access the valve stem. I bought inexpensive extenders but they have to be screwed on and off when checking the tire pressure. This gauge works great and makes the job easy. Two complaints however. First the air hose connector that came with the gauge did not fit my air hose chuck without leaking to the point that the air pump could not build enough pressure to stop running. I fixed that problem by taking the connector off one of my other attachments and used it with the gauge. Apparently the one that came with the gauge is beveled on both sides. It’s possible that I may have an odd ball air chuck but I have attached a picture showing the two connectors and their differences. The second complaint is I wish it came with a right angle connector instead of, or in addition to the straight connector. The straight connector would not fit in the limited space available. I ended up having to buy the Jaco right angle connectors which are sold in a package of two and costs almost as much as the gauge. I have attached a second picture showing the right angle connector installed. This has now cost over $50.00 to do what I want it to do but in the long run I think it will be worth it.

2.0 out of 5 stars I think this reads high UPDATE: What's inside these gauges?
Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2022
I thought this would be THE inflator to finally have for all my toys. Meets THE industry standard. I've never had a gauge this nice. Based on the inexpensive stick gauges I have always used and a cheap disposable digital gauge from the early 90s(still works) I have developed a pretty good idea of our tires' happy points. First use this gauge showed my car tires at 38-40psi! I let the tires down to 28psi and there was no way! I could see they were now low and it drove and sounded like they were low. It was reading consistently 4-5psi higher that I expected on the car, truck, motorcycles, airplane tires, etc. I used a mechanic friend's shop gauge(from TWA) and his read about 3.5-4psi lower side-by-side on the truck. I took this gauge to him all proud thinking he would want one - super slick to use but... we both agreed, better to take more old school time and effort but be more accurate.
Past few years I've been intentionally over inflating to the point of monitoring center tread wear and thought this would help me be more consistent but I'm just not sure how to compensate for suspected error on a 28psi tire and then compensate for a 15psi tire. Is the error proportional? I pressure tested an engine block at 20psi last week and did NOT consider using this gauge.
None of this is what I expected to consider when purchasing this "...accurate to ±2% at our NIST and ANSI certified calibration..." gauge. Has my AI been wrong on all those planes for decades? Have I been over inflating by 5psi since the early 90s? Maybe but I doubt it.
Positives are that it is very easy to use, quick to use, and appears quite consistent. Consistent but inaccurate!
Maybe I'll just see if it's adjustable inside? Sadly import goods are suspect this is no different - just with a USA facade.
Sorry for ranting but as-is there is no good reason for me to trust this gauge. Hope other's experiences are as good as the videos(commercials) suggest.
Update: Checked the car tires before a weekend trip and now it reads 10psi high! Aired up a refillable spray can and it matched 90psi perfectly with the regulator gauge on the wall. Weird. I finally read the reviews and I'm not alone.
Update: Seller has offered a replacement or a 15% refund since it is now been over 30 days. I get limits are needed to prevent abuse but setting a return policy even to exclude obvious manufacturing flaws? I would return it for any amount back but that wasn't offered. I do not need this or a replacement gauge that does not work at any price and I don't need a 15% tip to try to make me feel the company did the right thing and stood by their product. I would not recommend this gauge and I tend to think this is marketed as high end when the results are that of low end Chinese products.
Update: As promised, I disassembled this inaccurate inflator and gauge and it's pure Chinesium inside. Very dirty bores, two of the three O-rings were nicked and completely dry and take a look at the machining of the brass valve! The remaining corrosive flux inside the gauge itself is astounding. This is likely why some gauges suddenly fail to read. The sector pivot is not even parallel with the pinion or the frame of the works(drilled crooked). China is capable of making high quality instruments but what companies ask for by spec(read: cost savings) is what you get.
I am posting pics as I was able to clean much of the debris, replace and lube the orings, and clean up the brass on a lathe - some of the worst "machining" I've seen on brass. l recalibrated the gauge to get this to read .5-1.0 psi from my stick gauge in the 28lb range. It is now off by 10psi at the 80psi range which I expected. Few have the tools nor gumption to try this and they shouldn't have to.
Now I need to decide on different badges to put on this inflator since I did what JACO could not.
