The Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) is the eighth that we've completed in as many years. A quick recap... We knew even before starting the AZBDR that we'd need a permit to cross the Navajo Nation, and we knew we could conveniently pick up the permit just outside of Cameron, AZ just prior to entering Navajo land.
