Description
If you're looking to improve the feel of your 2nd gen Tacoma (05-15) OEM brakes, one of the things you'll want to do is to upgrade the brake lines that run from the frame to the spindle from rubber to stainless steel.
Stainless steel lines will expand less under pressure - and at the same time, last longer - improving brake pedal feel and braking performance. Plus, these lines are slightly longer than the stock rubber brake lines, so you don't need to worry that you'll break them when you're flexing out your rig. (see below)
All color lines are DOT approved.
Of course, other vendors sell stainless steel lines, but they charge way too much money. You can buy them here for nearly 20% less.

If you have a long travel kit that uses the stock spindle, add these extended lines and enjoy bigger brakes.
Note: do not purchase these extended lines if you have mid-travel, or up to a 4" lift/leveling kit on your Tacoma or 4Runner. The longer lines will get in the way of your suspension components; the standard lines will work perfectly for you. |

Brake line color options:
Choose Gray or Red lines, and up to four (4) clips.
Before and After:
OEM Rubber lines (left) are slightly too short. Stainless steel lines (right) perform better and are slightly longer to reduce the risk of breaking them when your suspension is flexed.
