Description
The ultimate bed rack for 95.5-04 Tacoma's. This is a mid-height rack that sits approximately 8” above the bed sides and 23" above the bottom of the bed. This height that results in a RTT being flush (or just slightly below) the roof line (center of cab), except for the ladder which sticks just slightly above.
All steel, the rack is strong enough to hold hundreds of pounds - an RTT plus other accessories (hi-lift, shovels, etc.) is no problem. Construction of the rack includes:
- platform of the rack is made of 1x1” .09 square tube, approximately 38x38" (upgradable to add L-track - see options)
- the legs are 1x2” .125 rectangle tube
- the feet are 1½” .125 angle, 39" long (upgradable - see options)
- stainless steel mounting hardware with 4 points of attachment.
Note: attaching the rack requires drilling four holes in the bed rail (two per side)
Weight is approximately 50 lbs, and shipping in the online cart is an estimate. If you live on the east coast, I may let you know that it costs more after you place your order, or feel free to contact me for a shipping quote.

I was lucky enough to find one of these racks locally from another member. As that member told me prior to picking it up, and as he stated in this thread.. it’s a super solid and strong rack, and it is really light for what it is, I’m very excited to have one for my rig ?
Really nice work !!!

There's something wrong with us at TW if we're on a beautiful hike through the redwoods (Big Basin and Henry Cowell@Garden of Eden) yet you're anxious to get back and pick up your next Tacoma mod!
Bed rack picked up 😉

My bed rack from @turbodb arrived via Greyhound and I picked it up yesterday. Here is the first test fit from this morning. Looks good, and feels solid. Needs to be cleaned up and painted. Was considering powder coating, but if I want to make mods, then painting allows me more options. Looks great. Thanks Dan.

I have had mine for a little over a year now and love it. Held up well and it has helped with the bed flexing. You drill 4 holes into the lip that hangs down into the bed from the bedside. These are some older pics when I first installed it. It has since been powder coated and had his Hi-lift mount added and some quik fists.

Really is a great bed rack though (welds are fantastic). I couldn't find anything for the truck aside from yours, would've had to go custom. So thanks. Lifesaver. Plus, brilliant idea going with greyhound.
