Description
Looking for the best extended rear brake lines for your 2nd gen Tacoma? Most vendors will sell you a set of lines that are good for a 3" lift. However, you'll notice that with a lift in the rear, these lines are often too short and limit travel.
The AdventureTaco lines are a full 28 inches long and allow for the full cycling of your rear suspension with nearly any lift, with no concern that you'll stretch or break your rear lines.
Made of a heavy duty braided stainless steel, these DOT-approved, PTFE lined, brake lines have a gray or red PVC oversleeve to protect the line from snags and abrasion. These lines also reduce swelling under pressure, resulting in a more consistent braking experience than the stock rubber lines.
Optionally, we'll also include brake line clips as well, which can be used to replace the existing clips where these lines connect to the rear brackets at the frame of the truck and on the rear axle.
PTFE Lining
Each brake line features a Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) inner lining, highly resistant to chemicals, temperature, and moisture. Its low-friction surface prevents deposit buildup for smooth fluid transfer, while remaining flexible under continuous flexing and vibration.
Stainless Steel
Every brake line uses stainless steel braiding to reduce volumetric expansion under pressure, minimizing brake fade and ensuring a firm, consistent pedal feel. The braid also protects the PTFE core from abrasion, impact, and debris.
PVC Cover
All brake lines come finished with durable PVC covers, providing extra protection against abrasion and corrosion. Beyond performance, they also offer style with color options beyond the standard silver.
D.O.T Certified

Purchased front and rear lines for my Tacoma. Shipped same day. Haven’t had a chance to install them as I was waiting for my hawk pads and now going to install 4 runner calipers and rotors and backing plates. Buying these lines I went down the rabbit hole. Thanks again super responsive seller. I’ll post pictures next week when everything comes in.

The lines got to me in a few days after order and look like great quality. I wont be installing them as I bought them as spares since I am running a non-oem length.
Last year we had a cherokee snap a line and a spare set is worth the $50 to save a weekend.
