I don't remember exactly how long ago it was now, but at some point, Ben @m3bassman got a van. It wasn't just any old lame van, it was a SportsMobile, but it still wasn't a 1st gen Tacoma. And in a band of 1st gen Tacomas, his van was... different.
So in 2024, we had an InterVANtion. Or we tried. We told Ben he needed to get back into his green truck. That he needed to ditch the comforts of his couch and kitchen for the simple, agile frame of his trusty Tacoma.
It didn't work, until now. Having moved to New Mexico, Ben's been busy exploring a new state. It's beautiful he says, and he's invited us all down. It's a long way to go - with gas prices higher than they've ever been - but he's promised he'll be back in the Tacoma for the first time in years. And how could we not support him through his recovery? That's what friends are for.
