Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson Sporting "The People's Eyebrow" Over the years, Dwayne Johnson has adapted the use of "The People's Eyebrow" to allow for much broader use than simply as a warning that a beat-down is imminent. Today, it's used to question anything that seems unexpected.

Originally developed when The Rock was wrestling in the WWF/WWE, "The People's Eyebrow" was a threat indicated by the raising of one eyebrow while lowering the other, tilting the head, and staring into the eyes of an opponent.

It was often followed by a reference to the eyebrow, and the phrase, "Can you smell...what The Rock...is cookin'?
